In addition to the many new books, this catalog once again includes a number of great articles and extracts.
“The Inner Life of the Earth” by Paul V. O'Leary is an excerpt from his introduction to The Inner Life of the Earth: Exploring the Mysteries of Nature, Subnature, and Supranature. Paul here helps readers better understand the quite mysterious topic of what lies beneath our feet and what it means for us.

“The Mystery of Mary Magdalene” by Robert Powell is a chapter from his newest book, The Mystery, Biography, and Destiny of Mary Magdalene: Sister of Lazarus John & Spiritual Sister of Jesus. Here, Robert takes a unique perspective in his discussion of one of the most enigmatic persons surrounding the life of Jesus Christ, using astrosophy, the visions of
Anne Catherine Emmerich, and his own spiritual research to help clarify a persistent mystery.

“Weekly Meditations” by Rudolf Steiner & Patsy Scala is from Weekly Meditations: Rudolf Steiner's "Calendar of the Soul" with Accompanying Reflections. Includes are an extract from Patsy's introduction plus several weekly verses along with her meditative reflections.

“Touching the World” by Dan McKanan is the transcription of his talk given at SteinerBooks' annual Spiritual Research seminar in March 2008. Dan—an associate professor of religion and chair of the Theology Department at the College of St. Benedict and St. John’s University—has dedicated his professional and personal life to recovering peace, justice, and community at the heart of Christian life and theology. He is especially interested in the contribution of the esoteric Christian stream, including Anthroposophy, to these issues.

“Six Meditations” by Rudolf Steiner, who composed hundreds of meditations of many different kinds. Most often, they were written for individual students and those who asked for them. However, he also wrote verses for himself, for his own intimate life and as part of his spiritual research. In this catalog are six that readers might find helpful. They are from Mantrische Sprüche, Seelenübungen II (CW 268).

“Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?” By Michael Lipson is his foreword to one of the newest books from Georg Kühlewind, Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?: Healing in the Gospels. Michael—a psychotherapist, a longtime student of Anthroposophy and Georg Kühlewind, and the author of Stairway of Surprise: Six Steps to a Creative Life—brings a fresh perspective to the teaching style and substance of Georg's approach to inner development.
This latest Steiner & Spirit catalog is the largest issue yet and has much to offer readers.
